Personal Learning Network (PLN)
A personal learning network is a group of individuals that collaborate and discuss certain ideas and issues. It is important that teachers establish a PLN so that they can have support as they try new teaching methods and tehniques. Personally, having a PLN has allowed me to see how teaching occurs in the real world. Before having a network of fellow educators, I did not understand the importance of communicating new and relevant ideas in education. However, I now see the impact that having a support group can have on an educator. I plan to continue to network with other professionals through the use of Twitter, Pinterest, and other resources. As I progress through college, I plan to make changes to my teaching vision. Furthermore, each semester I plan to research new technology that is relevant to the classroom and share it with others.
