Domain 3: Instruction
Domain 3 of the Danielson Framework discusses how teachers should instruct in the classroom. It includes Component 3a: Communicating Clearly and Accurately, Component 3b: Using Questioning and Discussion Techniques, Component 3c: Engaging Students in Learning, Component 3d: Providing Feedback to Students, and Component 3e: Demonstrating Flexibility and Responsiveness. It is important that teachers not only understand but apply the components under Domain 3 as they will aid in their success as a teacher. When educators are cognizant of their instruction's effect, they will be better able to meet each student's needs.
