Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities
Domain 4: Professinoal Responsibilities discusses the importance of remaining up-to-date on content in addition to maintaining a professional appearance. Teachers should always strive to be responsible and dilligent in their pedagogy. Components of Domain 4 include Component 4a: Reflecting on Teaching, Component 4b: Maintaining Accurate Records, Component 4c: Communicating with Families, Component 4d: Contributing to the School and District, Component 4e: Growing and Developing Professionally, and Component 4f: Showing Professionalism. It is vital that teachers understand and apply the lessons from Domain 4 so that they can remain relevant and be effective in their position.
